Hiring safely, step by step

How your line becomes offers, what your stamp means, when you pay and what happens when something goes wrong.

Get offers

Always free for you.

No pro sees your phone number. Only the pro you book gets your address. Works in the browser, nothing to install.

Your line

You write in one line what needs doing, where and when, the way you would tell a neighbour. Wupp, the assistant in Schwupps, reads along as you type and prepares the fields. Whatever is still open, the app asks afterwards, never with a long form. Nothing is sent without you.

Answers in order

Businesses answer with offers, and the offers stand in the order they arrive, oldest first. Price, distance and proofs are shown for comparison; they do not change the order. There are no paid places and no favourite.

The rules: ranking and sorting

Your stamp

A job becomes binding only when you hold your stamp; before that, nothing commits you. With the stamp the job stands: the appointment from the offer's window and the thread with the business. You do not exchange phone numbers; calls run through a Schwupps number that belongs to the job.

The proof

On site the business documents the work: with photos, time and place, where needed with a form and your signature. It becomes a page that you read before you pay. The proof stays with the job.

Invoice and payment

The invoice comes from the offer and the proof. You pay only after the proof, in the app and with your stamp. A payment provider collects the amount and pays it out to the business; Schwupps takes nothing from it.

When something goes wrong

If something is wrong with the job, you raise an objection (Einwand) in the app, within 14 days of the proof and with a sentence about it. The payment pauses, both sides present facts, and Schwupps decides; a partial amount is possible too. Beyond this, Schwupps gives no guarantee.

Your data

Your requests belong to you. Your address never goes on a map; the business you stamp learns it with the booking. Reviews exist only after a completed job. Wupp's language model runs in a data centre in Germany.

What pros pay and you do not

You pay Schwupps nothing, ever: no fee, no commission, no premium. Whoever works alone pays nothing for the app; an offer on a request that came through Schwupps costs the business credit, due only when a contact comes about. Businesses with a team apply for Schwupps Business. Schwupps takes nothing from the job itself.

Your first job

The rest comes in turn.
